Description
Something we don't see too often, a Great Grey Owl walking on snow. From the archives, reworking some older images, this one has always struck me as being "cartoon" like, and a little bit comical! The owl was on the ground briefly after getting itself out of the snow from an unsuccessful attack on presumably a vole, that it was hunting..photo taken in Eastern Ontario a couple of winters ago...
